Priyasakhi the Madhavan- Sada romantic family entertainer has been finally completed and is ready to hit the theatres. Madhavan and Sada are teaming up again after Aethiree . The audio of the film was launched at Abhirami Theatres. Simbhu was the chief guest. The audio was released by music composer Harris Jeyaraj and was received by Silambarasan. The film has six songs by Bharadwaj. Sethu Sriram cranks the camera for this romantic film.

Priyasakhi (Dear Wife) revolves around Madhavan, a young dynamic and handsome man from an upper middle class family who falls in love with a beautiful model, Sada who belongs to a very liberal ultra rich family and is from the upper strata of the society. They get married, their relationships starts to fall apart due to cultural differences. They struggle in their life to achieve their desires. It is a remake of Hindi film ‘Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar’ (Salaman –Shilpa Shetty in the lead). K.S.Adhiyaman was the director of the Hindi version and he also directed this version.

Producer P L Thenappan of Sri Rajalakshmi Films has been able to rope in nearly four big players to promote the film. They are Sangini diamonds, Chlor Mint, KUN Hyundai and Western Union Money Transfer. In a 50 seconds scene in the film, hero Madhavan is shown giving a diamond ring to his girlfriend Sada as he proposes to her. In another scene Sada, a model does a photo shoot for commercial of Chlor Mint. And in the film, Madhavan works as the manager of KUN Hyundai, and he also drives a Hyundai Elantra car.

The money changers, Western Union Bank have taken 30 seconds commercial just before the titles start rolling. Says Thenappan: “Thanks to these product placements I save on the vinyl hoardings and TV spot ads for Priyasakhi. It is a big blessing and right medium to promote my film”.
