V.S.M Flour Mill Sdn. Bhd., which is situated in the historical state of Malacca, is famous for manufacturing their "Coronet Brand" Gingerly Oil, "Menas" Curry Powder and "Lakshmi Brand" Kerala Appalam etc. This company was formed by Mr. Sinniah Pillai in 1954 and was handed over to his son, Mr. Meganathan in 1975. After years of hard work, Mr. Meganathan developed V.S.M. into one of the most famous flour mills in Malacca as well as in Malaysia. Today, they are also a flour mill spare parts dealer.

To carry on the family tradition, Mr. Meganathan's son, Mr. Murugan, decided to join his father's company in 1990. His entry into this field brought some extra dimension to the business. In 1997, Mr. Murugan upgraded V.S.M. into a Private Limited Company. The sales increased rapidly and the number of employees grew bigger. To date V.S.M has over 20 workers in employment.
